wh00p! over 10,000 hits! In only 3 DAYS! Smokin'! (okey, 4 if you count the grand opening.) Thorin was the 10,000th hit, and Scott ~FX was nr 10,001. Too cool. And also, damn, the page looks BUTT UGLY in Netscape compared to Internet Explorer. I'll have to install NS and see if I can fix the problem. I've added a few more jumps to the Q3TEST2 section. I though I was gonna add atleast 10 jumps today, but when I checked the demos, most of them were identical or almost identical to the jumps that are already on the page, so: PLEASE CHECK THE PAGE BEFORE SUBMITTING!. It's a pain in the butt having to check out a bunch of jump demos that are already listed here. Thanks. You can also see that I've started adding demos to the jumps on Q3TEST2. If you find any errors with the demos (or otherwise), please report 'em to me. Also check the updated submit page. And please, do follow the guidelines. Thank you, and ENJOY DAMMIT! =) 7. June 1999 wow! What a response from you guys, you're awesome =) I've got plenty of jump mails with demos waiting for me, but I've got to study for my exam before I can review them. Sorry. I have got quite a few jumps for you today, though, and I've also reorganized the Q3TEST2 jump section, to make it easier to add demos and such. (Although they are not quite finished yet either..). I've seen plenty of pages linking Jump Dammit! the last few days - thanks to those webmasters! Btw, I've fixed the dates - they were all screwed up (I reset my BIOS, and didn't get the right date. Sorry about that.) 6. June 1999 Holly shit, you guys are nuts! Got about 50 emails in less than 5 hours, and around 1200 hits in the same amount of time! Amazing! Eric "Gopherhog" Richards was the man who hit the big 1000 - and he sendt along a screenshot to prove it. (Actually, it's a scanned print - neat). I've re-organized the Q3TEST1 pages and added a few jumps. It should be easier to do demos for the different jumps now (they're coming later this week). I'm going to do the same thing to do Q3TEST2 page soon. Btw, Q3TEST2 has a terrible amount of jumps.. Please id, don't make any more maps like this - it's a pain to do jump guides for 'em =) I realized that I really need to make this site a bit more "newbie" friendly, with tutorials on how to record demos, go into spectator mode, etc. I'll do it once my french and Science exams are over (I'm done on wednesday). I have made som better rules for submitting demos - PLEASE FOLLOW THEM! I get tons of demos here, so please make it easier for me by following those rules. Btw, only the first person to send me a jump gets credited. Also, I might not use all jumps, only the ones I like - and no weapon tricks with weapons not in the level (a dude sendt me a BFG jump - it was cool, but since he used cheats...) 5. June 1999 Update: I added a few jumps to the Q3TEST2 page, and one to the Q3TEST1 page. Go check 'em out. Awwyeah. I decided to do something about the old *cough* extremely terrible *cough* design. I saw that only a few sites cared to mention the site, and since I got so much positive feedback from the visitors, I decided upgrade the looks and content a bit so that maybe more sites would mention it. As you can see, the design is at least better, and I've also added a Q3TEST1 jumps page - but since I hardly ever play that level, I really don't know any jumps for it. So if I've messed up, and forgotten the most important ones, please be a good guy and send 'em my way. I've got a jump or two I'm gonna add to the Q3TEST2 page so watch out for it. (one from Jordan Mendelson - thanks) Please don't email me with jumps that are obvious - there's no reason to add 'em to the jump guide. Oh, and one more thing: should I bother with the demos, or is picstures enough to illustrate the jumps? Please let me know what you think Thank you, enjoy your stay!
