Jump DEMOS (100k)

Jump #: 24
Demo: q3test2_24.zip
Date: 8 June
Jumpsort: Pad-RJ
Jumper: FreeRide (email)

Comment: This is a standard Pad-RJ from the rail island to the top level. Nothing fancy, but it works well..

Jump #: 23
Demo: q3test2_23.zip
Date: 8 June
Jumpsort: Pad-RJ
Jumper: Podaman (email)

Comment: This was a new one that I hadn't seen before - it's a greate deal easier than the jump that goes directly to the Quad from the Rail island, but it's not too easy in any way. (NB! The lines shown here are a bit off, check out the demo if you're having problems..)

Jump #: 22
Demo: q3test2_22.zip
Date: 8 June
Jumpsort: Jump
Jumper: General Electric (email)

Comment: A quicker way to get to the bounce pad that takes you to the rail island. Easy, and usefull..

Jump #: 10
Demo: q3test2_10.zip
Date: 6 June
Jumpsort: Pad-RJ
Jumper: koensayr[vKm] (email)

Comment: This one is extremely hard to do - in fact, I've only had one succesfull try out of atleast 30. (that's me, timm, saying this.) koensayr has this jump done really well, you really need to see his demo.

Jump #: 11
Demo: q3test2_11.zip
Date: 6 June
Jumpsort: Quad-RJ
Jumper: frame (from sCary's Q3 board)

Comment: This is a good one, but also a dangerous one. First, grab the Quad like usual. Then jump down to the second bounce pad like down in the picture, and from there Quad-Pad-RJ (wow!) out to the Rail island.

Jump #: 9
Demo: None
Date: 6 June
Jumpsort: Jump
Jumper: Chris (email)

Comment: Chris was first of many to report on this jump: Use the first bounce pad that is usually used to get to the Quad, but instead navigate to the Mega Health. This is a much easier and safer route than the intended route.

Jump #: 4
Demo: q3test2_4.zip
Date: 6 June
Jumpsort: Jump
Jumper: Tycho.QF (email)

Comment: I knew this one, but had forgotten to add it - Tycho reminded me. What you do is to get launcher by one of the top level bounce pads like shown in the pic (doesn't matter which one), and then hold back a bit in mid air using the back key. This results in a landing on the return bounce pad. You can keep on bouncing and bouncing like that for ages.

Jump #: 15
Demo: None
Date: 5 June
Jumpsort: Quad-RJ
Jumper: Timm Stokke (email)

Comment: Here are two different Quad-RJ's up to the Quad\Teleporter. The one from the middle level is quite tricky, and does require a fast computer and good skills to pull off. The RJ from the top level should be easy enough, tho.

Jump #: 12
Demo: q3test2_12.zip
Date: 5 June
Jumpsort: Jump\drop-off
Jumper: Timm Stokke (email)

Comment: If you've got good air navigation, you should try these quad drop-offs. Very slick, and there are plenty of things you can do, depending on which bounce pad you choose to land on.

Jump #: 13
Demo: q3test2_13.zip
Date: 5 June
Jumpsort: Jump
Jumper: Jordan Mendelson (email)

Comment: These are two greate ways to get down from the Quad real quick without loosing any health at all.

Jump #: 0
Demo: q3test2_0.zip
Jumpsort: Jump
Jumper: Timm Stokke (email)

Comment: Just walk or jump onto the bounce pad that normally bounces you to the quad, but instead try to air control up to the highest levels of the map (where the shotgun is)

Jump #: 1
Demo: q3test2_1.zip
Jumpsort: Jump
Jumper: Timm Stokke (email)

Comment: Very similar to the one above, but shown from a different POV. Although I didn't paint it on, you can also just walk right on the bounce pad and fly from there. (ie. you don't HAVE to jump onto it)

Jump #: 2
Demo: q3test2_2.zip
Jumpsort: Jump
Jumper: Timm Stokke (email)

Comment: Jump onto the bounce pad that you normally use to get to the Mega Health from one of the shown positions, and just keep going forward until you've reached the other side.

Jump #: 3
Demo: q3test2_3.zip
Jumpsort: Jump
Jumper: Timm Stokke (email)

Comment: Try getting launcher by the bounce pad like usual, but once in the air, use the back key, strafe key and the mouse to "move" youself to the bounces shown.

Jump #: 5
Demo: q3test2_5.zip
Jumpsort: Jump
Jumper: Timm Stokke (email)

Comment: Pretty much standard "bounce and air control" jumping. Very basic.

Jump #: 6
Demo: q3test2_6.zip
Jumpsort: Jump
Jumper: Timm Stokke (email)

Comment: This is by far the quickest way to get to the Quad from the Rail island. You can actually get from the Rail to the Quad without touching anything but bouncepads! A bit tricky, but a good trick once you get the hang of it.

Jump #: 8
Demo: q3test2_8.zip
Jumpsort: Pad-RJ & jump
Jumper: Timm Stokke (email)

Comment: Jump from RA to the pad, Pad-RJ, and in the end, a bounce. It is also quite possible to just leave out the last bounce, and instead land on the upper level. If you're good, you can actually land on the health pack up there.

Jump #: 14
Demo: q3test2_14.zip
Jumpsort: Quad-RJ or Jump
Jumper: Timm Stokke (email)

Comment: Got some health to waste? Need Rail? Go for the quick Quad-RJ out to the rail island (red). Or, if you don't fancy loosing health, go for the jump to bouncepad (green).

Jump #: 16
Demo: q3test2_16.zip
Jumpsort: Jump & Pad-RJ
Jumper: Timm Stokke (email)

Comment: A good trick for the newly respawned players who wanna get out of the fray in an original way: Grab the RL, and jump for the Mega Health bouncer. Then do a Pad-RJ and with some air navigation, you should be able to get to the top level quite easily.

Jump #: 17
Demo: q3test2_17.zip
Jumpsort: Jump & Pad-RJ
Jumper: Timm Stokke (email)

Comment: This one is rather tricky, and will most likely cause you a negative frag - but what the hell. Jump, Pad-RJ and then bounce to the Quad. Nifty anyway.

Jump #: 18
Demo: q3test2_18.zip
Jumpsort: RJ
Jumper: Timm Stokke (email)

Comment: A very quick way to get to the Quad from the highest level - just RJ onto the last bounce pad that brings you up to the Quad. You can also try to combinate this one with some other tricks (like the next one)

Jump #: 19
Demo: q3test2_19.zip
Jumpsort: Jump & Pad-RJ
Jumper: Timm Stokke (email)

Comment: This is a cool and easy jump. It might not show too well, but you actually jump OVER the Quad "island" - I couldn't get Paintshop Pro to do it properly.

Jump #: 20
Demo: q3test2_20.zip
Jumpsort: Pad-RJ
Jumper: Timm Stokke (email)

Comment: This is an easy, and very quick trick to get from the lowset level to the Quad. This is very use full. (You don't hang that long in the air, and that way there's less chance you'll get hit by a rail freak or something similar that might knock you off course)

Jump #: 21
Demo: None
Jumpsort: Pad-RJ
Jumper: Timm Stokke (email)

Comment: This is an extremely hard jump to do, but for those l33t d00dz who have N0 ph34r, this one might be challenging enough
