These are distributed as "roms" as they're commonly known, so you can try playing them in a DS emulator (good luck!) or if you have the means you can play them on real hardware. HexenDS Hexen ported to the DS. Current version is 0.2, released 2006-03-04. Features sound and touchscreen support among other things. Source code is included.    
NesterDS A DS port of Nester. Current version is 0.3, released 2006-11-23. New version features improved compatibility and speed. Source code is included. 
TextViewer This is nothing special, just a text viewer for the DS. Makes use of a full touchscreen interface, persistent text bookmarking through SRAM, low power mode, and multiple file support with clean GUI for selecting. Uses a 5-pixel-width subpixel font to allow greater text density than standard 8-pixel tile fonts.
