MiniTut3 - Using the Patterned Paint tool

File | New Q2 WAL, "MiniTut3", 64 x 64
Flood Fill with color # 81
Image | Add Noise, Light, Monochrome, Uniform, Single Pixel
Image | Blend, Light
Image | Edge Detect, Medium, Black
Select the Spray Recolor tool
Select a Line Width of "32 Pixels"
Draw over entire image (until all pixels change)
Image | Blend, Medium
Save your intermediate results as "MiniTut3a"
Select Pattern Paint tool
Select "hex_tiles_med" from Patterns.wad using the new tool-settings toolbar
Left-click the mouse icon on the lower right of the toolbar to select
Set the Brush Width to "16 Pixels"
Set the brush Shape to "Square"
Set the Amount to "Most"
Hold the SHIFT key down to constrain horizontally. (SPACEBAR toggles Horizontal/Vertical)
Draw a horizontal line along the very bottom edge of the image
Set the Amount to "More"
Draw another horizontal line above (just touching) the previous line
Repeat last 2 steps using: Medium, A little Bit, and Least
Save as "MiniTut3"

Hold down CTRL and click on the image to download the .wal file
